New Procedures for Float Milwaukee

 COVID-19 Safety Procedures:

We are open and operating with additional safety procedures.  Below you will find more information about our procedures going forward, as well as what we need from you as the floater.

As long as the pandemic persists, our employees will be wearing masks, and we will need you to do the same. We ask for your cooperation as we adjust our current operating procedures to prioritize the Float community’s health and safety:

What do you need to bring?

We will still provide towels, earplugs, petroleum jelly packets, hairdryers, and make up wipes upon request, but you should bring q-tips or anything else you usually need with you. We have removed all shared items indefinitely.

Your pre-arrival checklist:

  • Be sure to sign the new waiver form included in every confirmation email, prior to your float
  • Bring a mask, and please wear it when you’re not in a float room
  • What will you need to do when you arrive?

We have closed the waiting area to comply with social distancing guidelines, so we ask that you wait in your vehicles until we allow you inside. Please call 414-273-7258 once you have arrived so that we can let you in for your appointment.

We will check all our customers’ temperatures via contactless thermometer upon arrival. If your temperature is higher than 99.5℉, we will have to ask that you leave and reschedule. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but safety for everyone is our priority.

Of course, if you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, you are sick in general, or if you have been in direct contact with someone who has COVID-19, please stay home.

How has the floating process changed?

We ask that you minimize use of the post-float prep room, and maintain distance from guests. The time between floats has been increased to allow us to sanitize the shop and the rooms accordingly. Our goal is to limit the amount of time customers stay in the shop after their floats are finished.

(Note: we will keep chairs in the lobby in case you need to process your floating experience.)

And as always, be sure to drop your sandals in the basket on the way out. We will also have hand sanitizer in the lobby, and at the front door.

Finally, watch our “New Procedures” video above before your float.

We deeply appreciate your patience and flexibility as we do what we can to safeguard you, our customers, and our employees.

We’ll see you soon!
