Float Milwaukee Orientation

We Look Forward to Having You As Our Guest!

Welcome to our new online orientation page. Under normal conditions, we’d give you a full tour upon arrival at Float. In an effort to reduce social interaction, let this page guide you.

Prior to your scheduled visit, please watch our procedures videos for everything you need to know from arrival to finish, so you have a safe and excellent float experience.

Before your session:

Your session is in a Pod Room:

Your session is in a Pool Room:

New Post COVID-19 Safety Procedures:

Masks are optional for patrons and staff. If you feel more comfortable in a mask, please continue to wear one while you are not in the pod or pool room. We ask for your cooperation as we adjust our current operating procedures to prioritize the Float community’s health and safety:

What do you need to bring?

We will provide earplugs, petroleum jelly packets, hairdryers, and make up wipes upon request, but you should bring q-tips or anything else you usually need with you.

Your pre-arrival checklist:

  • Complete the new waiver form, included in every confirmation email, prior to your float
  • If you feel more comfortable, bring a mask, and wear it when you’re not in a float room
  • Please be sure to use the restroom before you arrive as well

What will you need to do when you arrive?

Come on in and start by changing out of your shoes and into a pair of our spa sandals. You can then take a seat in our lobby area and a Float attendant will be with you shortly.

Experiencing Symptoms? – If you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, you are sick in general, or if you have been in direct contact with someone who has COVID-19, please stay home.

We’ll keep chairs in the lobby in case you need to process your floating experience. As always, be sure to drop your sandals in the basket on the way out. We will also have hand sanitizer in the lobby, and at the front door.

Parking at Float Milwaukee

We have five reserved parking spots in the gravel lot across the street from our entrance. These are marked with Float Milwaukee reserved signs. Additionally, street parking is available all around the building. It is unlimited and free all the way down Freshwater Way, and free but limited to two or three hours on 2nd Street and Pittsburgh.

ADA Accessibility

We are wheelchair accessible into the float rooms. Additionally, room 3 has an ADA handheld shower. We also have a portable ADA shower bench available if needed or desired. The pods themselves have a wide lip to provide the ability to sit and swing over into the pod. If you are unsure whether or not you may need assistance, please bring someone with you who can help get you into and/or out of the pod. They are welcome to stay in the room or relax in the lobby while waiting for the float to finish.
